Become a Mentor to New Nurse Leaders
At the NODNA Nursing Excellence Celebration, scholarships are awarded to nursing students/new graduate students. NODNA implemented a Mentoring Program to parallel the awarded scholarships.
It is the goal of NODNA to match mentees and mentors with similar practice experience.
Mentors will serve to support growth of the student nurse or new graduate in their area of interest or practice. Activities include, but are not limited to, providing opportunities for professional engagement at organizational meetings, share information, and provide guidance for advancing their education and/or leadership trajectory.
